VENUES
We have performed at wedding receptions in a wide range of venues including hotels, holiday camps, large and small function rooms, RAF bases, country clubs and sports clubs, town and village halls and private marquees. Does your venue have a sound limiter? No problem! We take pride in the fact that we have performed numerous venues up and down the country where these are installed and we have NEVER ONCE caused one to shut down!
Whether you are planning a large reception in a hotel or marquee, or perhaps a more intimate gathering for close family and friends, we are completely self contained and flexible, tailoring our music, presentation, equipment and lighting to suit the occasion, venue and the number of guests you have invited.
ENTERTAINMENT
We play a wide variety of music spanning all musical genres from the 1920's to the present day suitable for a mixed age audience, so all your guests are sure to be kept dancing - from the youngest bridesmaid to your eldest relative! We have our own stage and dance floor lights to create the perfect party atmosphere, and make sure every song we play is a guaranteed floor-filling classic.
DISCO & CEILIDH
As part of every wedding we are booked for, we can supply a disco to providemusic when required. This is most commonly used during the buffet, but can also be used before and after performance. We can even throw in a handful of ceilidh tunes to please those with enough energy to cope! This makes for a truly varied evenings entertainment, and saves the added expense of booking a DJ and ceilidh band too!
SPECIAL REQUESTS
To get your evening underway, we would be honoured to play music for your first dance as a married couple, performed live especially for you. We are completely open to your suggestions, so if there are any specific ideas or requests that you have for your special occasion, you need only ask! For inspiration please look at our repertoire.
FORMALITIES
We formalise everything in writing, so you'll receive a contract (approved by The Variety & Light Entertainment Council, Equity and The Musicians Union) for your wedding entertainment. We also carry extensive public liability insurance, providing complete peace of mind for you, your family and your guests. Finally, all our equipment undergoes regular PAT certification to ensure it's electrical safety. For further information, please contact us.
